Wine of the Month April – May
Each month our wine of the month will feature two wines from around Australia, include a choice of red, white or rosé.
We’re pleased to announce our Wine of the Month specials for April – May feature two wines from local winery Sapling Yard.
Sapling Yard
We make our wines at Lake George with fruit sourced from premium growers in the Canberra region, other cool climate regions such as Tumbarumba, as well as from our own 1 hectare vineyard in Braidwood.
Our aim is to make wines in small batches that show character, freshness, and finesse, which have you coming back for more.
Sapling Yard Sangiovese (Canberra Region)
A new addition to the Sapling Yard portfolio, this is a medium bodied, medium tannin, bright young Sangiovese. Fresh red plums, savoury with dried herbs.
Sapling Yard Four Pinots Rosé (Canberra Region)
This wine is dry and mouthwatering with pink grapefruit red apple and strawberry note combining to create an elegant and versatile wine.
