Board of Directors

Country: Must reside in excess of 50kms from the Club. A person who qualifies for and elects to be in this category is not elegible to be an Officer or Director of the Club, but is entitled to vote.
Religious: A Priest, Brother, Nun, Minister (or their spouse) or full time student of a recognised religion. A person who qualifies for and elects to be in this category is not eligible to be an Officer or Director of the Club, and is not entitled to vote.

The Board of Directors are charged with steering the Club on a course that continues to bring to life the vision held by the founding directors in 1972: to provide social and entertainment options to members based on standards of excellence and to maintain the Club’s position as the premier club in the ACT.

Each of the Directors acts in a voluntary capacity, working many hours in their own time for the benefit of our community. The work of the Board of Directors is honorary and they are elected to work with all staff in their role of serving the members.

The Canberra Southern Cross Club Board of Directors is made up of a diverse range of Canberra citizens.
