Flamboyant trumpeter and vocalist Cameron Smith has been honing his set of almost-traditional jazz and New Orleans inspired originals for well over a decade. He’s toured extensively, both here and overseas, playing at festivals as diverse as the Woodford Folk Festival, Edinburgh Fringe and the Wuxi festival in China and performing at music events in Vietnam, Jakarta and Mongolia. He’s also played in every pub and street corner from Canberra to Cairns!

Cameron’s back in town to present a special ‘Jazz at Jamison’ 6-piece combination of some of Canberra’s most talented jazz musicians. Joining Cameron will be Nathan Sciberras on baritone sax, Liam O’Connell on banjo & guitar, Tom Manley on clarinet, Dave Abkiewicz on sousaphone and Mitch Preston on drums.

Expect hot “New Orleans jazz with a heavy dose of trad” guaranteed to get your feet moving!
