Making their welcome return to ‘Jazz at Jamison’ is Leisa and the Keen Kats. Listen to the powerhouse jazz vocals of Leisa Keen leading a seven-piece swing band, “Canberra’s littlest big band with a big sound” as Leisa likes to describe the band.

Leisa and the Keen Kats promise an unforgettable performance that will have you tapping your toes and dancing in your seat as they jazz up the classics from the American Songbook, bringing timeless tunes to life with their unique flair.

Featuring classic tunes from jazz masters such as Duke Ellington, Nat King Cole and Benny Goodman, expect to hear tunes such as ‘Take The A Train’, ‘L-O-V-E’, ‘Smile’, ‘This Can’t Be Love’ to name a few!

This septet is comprised of some of Canberra’s finest musicians: Leisa Keen – piano/vocals, Zach Raffan – trumpet, Josh Hackwill – tenor sax, Andrew Hackwill – baritone sax/alto sax/clarinet/flute, Greg Stott – guitar, Adam Hackwill – bass, Steve Richards – drums.
