This November, Canberra Southern Cross Club is proud to support Share the Dignity’s It’s in the Bag campaign, helping provide essential items to women and girls experiencing homelessness, domestic violence and hardship.

From 6-22 November, we’re encouraging our members and community to donate a filled handbag, backpack or tote bag containing everyday essentials. These donations will help bring dignity, comfort and hope to women and girls who need it most during the festive season.

For many recipients, an It’s in the Bag donation is more than a collection of practical items. It’s a reminder that their community cares and that they are not alone.

How to get involved

1. Choose a bag in good condition, such as a handbag, backpack or tote.
2. Fill it with essential items such as toiletries and personal care products.
3. Drop it off at Stellar Canberra during the collection period.

Every bag can make a meaningful difference.
