Neil Diamond – His Music, His Life

Saturday 11 August | Woden

With classic songs, Crunchy Granola Suite, Cherry Cherry, Sweet Caroline and I am… I Said, you’ll enjoy the same spontaneous display of energy and sensuality of Neil Diamond with the superb talents of Peter Byrne, who recreates Neil Diamond to a standard that Neil himself has endorsed on many occasions, and the Canberra Symphony Orchestra.

His Music, His Life showcases some of the favourite albums such as Hot August Night, Jonathan Livingston Seagull and The Jazz Singer, and pays special tribute to his award winning hits such as You Don’t Bring Me Flowers and I’m a Believer, to name just two.

Neil Diamond recently announced retirement from live performing due to illness, and many of his fans both in Australia and worldwide, were devastated and saddened at the news, so Peter decided he would salute 50 years of his music with some special moments in the show.

With the 30 piece Canberra Symphony Orchestra, Peter Byrne performs these hits as Neil Diamond recorded them. After a sell out show in Canberra in 2017 with the anniversary of Hot August Night, Peter’s brand new show will delight and uplift you.
