Healthy Eating Workshop – School Age Kids
Monday 26 November, Woden
November’s session is titled Healthy Eating for School Age Kids.
So, you’ve passed the toddler stage and the challenges that comes with that. Now your kids go to school and you don’t necessarily have the luxury of opening your fridge (or pantry) and making them a nutritious home made meal for lunch every day (lunch boxes are so restrictive!).
By the time you get to dinner, you are most likely exhausted after struggling through homework or after-school activities all afternoon. It is safe to say that with all these road blocks, healthy eating habits can easily start to slip.
In this presentation, Registered Nutritionist Kate Freeman, will address all these issues and provide some tips or guidelines on how you can manage through this next stage of your children’s healthy eating habits.
The Healthy Eating Hub is passionate about helping you maximise your health and wellbeing. Each month they’ll deliver a dynamic, interactive and professional workshop covering a wide range of nutrition topics.
These workshops are: Fun. Educational. Practical. Delivered by our qualified and friendly dietitians and nutritionists. Full of simple advice.
These workshops will: Be entertaining. Remove confusion. Fill you with confidence. Help you stay motivated to achieve long term healthy eating habits.
This session runs for 1 hour, and is held at Woden Southern Cross Club – Private Dining Room.
