Cumulus Wine Dinner

Coming from one of Australia’s finest wine growing regions, Central NSW, Cumulus is a winemaker that specialises in cool climate, high altitude wines. Senior winemaker Debbie Lauritz will host an evening of delicious food and unique handcrafted wines. With tickets at only $90, places will fill up fast.

Cumulus is one of the largest vineyards in the Southern Hemisphere at 570 hectares, and specialises in high elevation wines – grapes grown at altitude in cool climate conditions. Compared to warmer regions of Australia, the vineyards of Cumulus get half the volume of grapes from each vine, but twice the intensity of flavour. High elevation, cool climate wines tend to be medium-bodied, as well as crisper, brighter and more vibrant, which is due in part to the higher acidity of the grapes.
