She welcomes every opportunity to play with her Sydney-based band. The Stompin’ Rhythm Aces is comprised of some of Sydney’s most experienced jazz musicians. Joining Carolyn in Canberra on this occasion will be Greg Englert on trumpet & vocals\, Cameron Jones on his gypsy jazz guitar\, Jim Fletcher on drums\, and local artist Anthony Irving on bass. \nCarolyn has recorded three critically acclaimed albums\, two of those with the Stompin’ Rhythm Aces\, “Sweet Substitute” and “There’ll Be Some Changes Made.” The band threads traditional jazz and blues sounds with a driving swing\, bringing a freshness and vitality to each song. \nCarolyn Packer’s Stompin’ Rhythm Aces captivates audiences with its joyful\, high-energy playing\, guaranteed to get toes tapping and hearts swinging. \nDon’t miss what will be a great afternoon of music and entertainment!
