Kidtastic Crafts - What's On - 1
From Tuesday 7 January to Friday 31 January
Join us and Kidtastic Crafts at Henry’s Woden for fun and creative craft workshops perfect for the kids. The 1h sessions are held on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.
Week 2
Tuesday 14th January – Paper Flower Pots
With a few designs to choose from, kids will enjoy watching their paper flower come to life. With pre-cut pieces of brightly coloured card, we will make an adorable potted flower that will last forever. This activity is suitable for ages 3+.
Cost: $15.00 per child – Session times: 10:00am | 11:30am | 1:00pm
Wednesday 15th January – No Sew Pillow
If you are enjoying a few movie nights during the hoildays, this fluffy, soft
NO SEW pillow will be a great addtion to help get you comfortable. It’s not a magic trick but simply a fun and easy way to get creative. Kids will choose their pillow fabric on the day.
Cost: $25.00 per child – Session times: 10:00pm | 11:30am | 1:00pm
Friday 17th January – Sock Creature
There’s always one odd sock lying around, so let’s put it to good use. We are going to be making sock creatures today. Easy, peasy craft that is fun and cute when complete. The only problem is you cannot wear that sock again.
Cost: $10.00 per child – Session times: 6:00pm | 7:00pm
Week 3
Tuesday 21st January – Wonderful Wands and a Fairy Hunt
Calling all fairies…Children will have a chance to use their creativity when they design and make their own special fairy wand. Stars, glitter, streamers, sequins and stickers are just a few of the options available to produce something wonderful.
On completion of our wand making we will go on a special treasure hunt to find some lost fairies around the club. There will also be a prize for every child that comes dressed in a fairy or elf costume. This activity is suitable for kids 4+

Wednesday 22nd January – Glass Mosaic Coasters
Save your table surfaces with an awesome handmade coaster. Using square, coloured glass tiles, we will create two wooden coasters in today’s session. Kids will be given some ‘design time’ where they can experiment with colours and patterns before the tiles will be glued down. Once dry, we will then use grout to fill in the gaps. This activity is suitable for ages 3+.

Friday 24th January – Wooden Spoon Chefs
These spoons will not help you whip up any food, but they are certainly very cute. Using wooden spoons, wool, foam and ribbon we will create an awesome little chef. This activity is suitable for ages 3+.
Cost: $10.00 per child – Session times: 6:00pm | 7:00pm
Week 4
Tuesday 28th January – Dreamcatchers
From Native America, a dreamcatcher is used to protect sleepers from bad dreams. Kids will love designing their own dreamcatchers by using colourful thread, flowers, ribbon, beads and feathers.
Cost: $25.00 per child – Session times: 10:00am | 11:30am | 1:00pm
Wednesday 29th January – Pom Pom Mirror
Mirror, mirror made at craft, stick down those pom poms nice and fast. Choose your colours one by one and create a masterpiece that’s loads of fun. A wooden base with a mirror in the centre, provides a fabulous activity for kids to experiment with colour, pattern and texture.
Cost: $25.00 per child – Session times: 10:00am | 11:30am | 1:00pm
Friday 31st January – Popstick Animals
Using coloured popsicle sticks the kids will create a fantastic little animal that is cute and colourful. There are peacocks, chickens, foxes and even a shark to choose from. If you’re quick at crafting you might even get to make two!
Cost: $10.00 per child – Session times: 6:00pm | 7:00pm
Workshops are suitable for kids 3+.
