Community Rewards Spotlight: TVAFNC

The relationship between Tuggeranong Valley Australian Football Netball Club (TVAFNC) and Canberra Southern Cross Club is one that is built on trust, respect, and a shared commitment to providing the best possible opportunities for young athletes.

Kellie Hogan, President of TVAFNC said “the support has been instrumental in TVAFNC’s success, and words cannot express how important this relationship is to us”.

TVAFNC is just one of the many partners that benefits from our Community Rewards Program. By nominating TVAFNC to receive 7.5 cents for every dollar you spend on food and beverages at Woden, Tuggeranong, Jamison and Yacht Club you support them in many forms.

Canberra Southern Cross Club also provides support to our Community Partners when they need it the most, as happened with TVAFNC Fire Appeal where $2.00 of every Schnitzels sold at out Tuggeranong venue in the month of March were donated to help TVAFNC replace the equipment lost in the fire. We raised almost $3,500. How good is that!

“TVAFNC has been able to provide a high-quality sporting experience to hundreds of kids and families over the years and in 2023 was named Junior Club of the Year by AFL Canberra, all of that wouldn’t have been possible without Canberra Southern Cross Club support”, says Kellie.
