Cerebral Palsy Alliance (CPA) is an organisation with expertise in cerebral palsy research, advocacy, and innovation in assistive technology. For nearly eight decades, CPA has been committed to realising a future where individuals with cerebral palsy and similar conditions face no limits and are the experts of their own lives. Their services include early childhood intervention, therapy, health and wellbeing, sports, assistive technology, and various forms of support.

In the Canberra region, CPA’s center in Scullin serves as a vital hub for 355 individuals with disabilities and their families, providing over 10,000 hours of support annually. Their services range from early intervention for at-risk babies to a spectrum of therapeutic interventions and assistive technologies.

CPA’s mission revolves around building a brighter future for individuals with cerebral palsy and their families. Through their Strategy 2025, they aim to achieve this by focusing on key objectives, including empowering young people, fostering innovation, raising awareness, and transforming organisational practices.

Their vision is to build futures for young people with cerebral palsy and their families, through researching, developing, and embedding leading-edge innovations. Through that, they can amplify awareness and advocate for change.

Our Community Rewards Program contribution helps in funding early intervention therapy for at-risk babies and their families. This support enables CPA to deliver tailored therapy plans, monitor progress, and provide ongoing assistance. The goal is not only to optimise developmental outcomes for the babies but also to offer vital support to families navigating the challenges associated with their child’s condition.

We are proud to support CPA’s pioneering work in cerebral palsy care, which plays a crucial role in transforming the lives of people with disabilities and their families. Through community contributions and collaborative efforts, CPA continues to lead the way toward a more inclusive and empowered future.
