Ashes Day/Night Test Dinner

Enjoy our platinum Ashes Dinner on Night 1 of the historic Day/Night Test on Saturday 2 December.

Hosted in the private Wardroom at the Yacht Club, complete with live vision of the game from Adelaide, canapes and drinks are served on your arrival.

At the dinner break at the end of the second session of play, the main meal and dessert will be served. A platinum beverage package is available for the duration of the evening.

Cricket ACT are providing a guest speaker for the event who will give expert insight into the game and the Aussies’ chances of a win in what will be a crucial game in the Ashes series.

Only 30 places are available to the dinner at $125pp all inclusive, which includes a platinum beverage package for the duration of the evening.

The Openers
Jervis Bay scallop and chorizo with cauliflower espuma and salmon caviar
Moroccan spiced Victorian lamb sliders, beetroot jam with Kipfler chips

First Drop
Platinum beverage package including premium lagers, Arras sparkling, Amberley Secret Lane wines from the Margaret River, plus local region Clonakilla Shiraz and Mt. Majura Pinot Gris.

Dinner Break
Cow corner – Grain fed Robbins Island Tasmanian wagyu tenderloin, served with Kumara fondant, black garlic, pickled baby beetroot and maple roasted root vegetables

The follow on
Philadelphia mixed berry cheesecake, honeycomb, mascarpone vanilla mousse and seasonal fresh berries with minted salsa.

Extras – The famous Australians
A selection of famous Australian artisan cheeses. Tarwin Blue from South Gippsland, Milawa Brie from King Valley, and cloth aged cheddar from Maffra Cheese Company. Served with accompaniments of dried fruits, poached pear, quince paste, candied walnuts, lavosh bread and crackers
