| Southern Cross Club Jamison has donated fees earned from new memberships in November to the Ginninderra Junior Landcare Group.
Ginninderra Catchment Group Coordinator, Bonnie Reynolds, says the donation will be a
big boost for the juniors who are working on restoring areas around the Ginninderra Catchment.
“We’re extremely grateful for the support from the Southern Cross Club, Jamison” Reynolds said.
“Their donation will go towards purchasing uniforms, sun-protective gear and more size appropriate equipment. Currently the kids work with adult sized gear which can be very difficult for them to use.”
Lance Prior, Venue Manager at the Jamison Club says the Club is proud to be a member of the North-side community and is pleased to support such a worthwhile cause. “We were happy to jump at the chance to help the Ginninderra Catchment Group, who does such a great and valuable job”. |
