BETTER VALUE ON THE SPOT
IT’S NO JOKE, FROM APRIL 1st members will receive even more value for their membership with the introduction of Members’ Pricing.
The Club has received overwhelming feedback from you, our valued members, that you wanted to receive more immediate benefits from your membership.
We listened. Members’ Pricing means you will gain an immediate discount off food and beverage purchases just by showing your membership card.
Club Chief Executive Officer Ian Mackay said he was excited to offer members more value, more often. “The feedback from members was that they’d like to see cheaper pricing as a way of adding more value to their membership. We’ve had a great response to our $8.90 value meals and $3 Summer Happy Hour and you’ve told us that in these tough times value and quality are what’s important” “That’s why from April 1st you will immediately notice cheaper prices for members on menus at Tuggeranong, Jamison and Woden.
In addition we’ve kept our $8.90 value meals and $3 Happy Hour but these will now be for members only.” For example, members ordering a classic chicken schnitzel at the Golden Grille at Woden, The Valley Grille at Tuggeranong or the Cornerstone Brasserie at Jamison will pay just $18.50 compared to the nonmember price of $20.50.
If you want to shout your friends a drink or a meal, as long as the member orders, presents their card and pays the bill, the whole group will enjoy a discount that equates to around 10 per cent. On a bill of $120 that’s equal to a saving of around $12, which is the cost of your annual family membership. Just don’t forget to have your mates pay you back for your generosity!
Members’ pricing will be available at Woden in the Golden Grille, the gaming bar and the sports bar, while at Jamison it will be available at The Cornerstone Brasserie, the main bar and the sports bar.
At Tuggeranong it will be available at the Valley Grille and Carvery along with the main bar and sports bar. Other venues such as Yacht Club, Snapper and Peppercress Restaurant will retain one level of pricing. As part of the move to more immediate benefits for your membership, food and beverage purchases will no longer earn StarRewards points.
Members will still be able to earn points by swiping their card at the rewards centre, playing the gaming machines and for booking entertainment or MV Southern Cross tickets directly with the club. There will also be more regular
points promotions throughout the year to help you build up your points balance to redeem for food and beverages.
So make sure you have your Membership card at the ready when visiting your Club from April 1st to ensure you start saving immediately!
