Meet the team
I grew up on a property just outside of Wagga Wagga, and moved to Canberra about 15 years ago.
I have been in the hospitality industry for 13 years now, and during this time have held many positions at the Club including most notably Senior Duty Manager, Acting Venue Manager, and Events Operations Manager.
This extensive experience ensures that I have an excellent understanding of what really works at the venue, and helps me to create and execute many fantastic events.
My favourite part of the job is meeting so many different people and helping them make their ideas a reality.

At the age of 18, I moved to Canberra from Wellington, a small country town in the central west of NSW.
Before joining the Canberra Southern Cross Club, I worked in Food & Beverage/Promotions at Rydges Capital Hill, however I took an early interest in functions and sales. I joined the Canberra Southern Cross Club in 2010 as a Events Bookings Coordinator for the Yacht Club. My role was to assist with events bookings, from the initial enquiry to after the event had taken place. I worked closely with a fantastic team who all contributed to meeting and exceeding guests’ expectations.
The thing I most enjoy about working for the Canberra Southern Cross Club is the people. I also love to help ensure every event is a success, from planning through to execution.
