The Canberra Southern Cross Club is a not for profit organisation which opened it’s doors in August 1972. Over the past decade the Club has contributed over $14 million to the Canberra community across a multitude of organisations. We have a proud history of providing grants in excess of the required community contribution amount. In this financial year we will provide sporting clubs, social clubs and community groups with over $1.3 million in funding.

Canberra Southern Cross consists of five licensed premises – Woden, Yacht Club, Tuggeranong, Jamison and the MV Southern Cross. All venues deliver superior dining, beverage, entertainment, conference and events facilities.

Southern Cross also has a number of Anytime Fitness franchises and our Southern Cross Health Club, a basketball stadium and our health and wellness centre, Stellar Canberra on the corner of Launceston Street and Yamba Drive in Woden.

We employ over 600 people and have over 80,000 members. The Club prides itself on our commitment to continually improve our facilities and services for our members and their invited guests.

OUR VISION

Country: Must reside in excess of 50kms from the Club. A person who qualifies for and elects to be in this category is not elegible to be an Officer or Director of the Club, but is entitled to vote.
Religious: A Priest, Brother, Nun, Minister (or their spouse) or full time student of a recognised religion. A person who qualifies for and elects to be in this category is not eligible to be an Officer or Director of the Club, and is not entitled to vote.
